Back ground and Rational

1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the General Education Quality Improvement Program (GEQIP-E) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the procurement of different types of stationary materials.
2. The Ministry of Education as part of the project implementation program is seeking to procure stationary materials as per the Request for Quotation prepared and available at The Ministry of Education, Procurement Executive Office.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Quotation (RFQ) Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's is drawn to Section VI of the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" July 2016 ("Procurement Regulations"), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest. A supplier will be selected in accordance with the Selection of Request for Quotation method set out in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and collect the list of Items to be procured from 8:30 am and 12:30pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, and on Friday from 8:30am to 11:30am and 1:30pm to 5:00 pm local time.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English should be collected by interested eligible bidders from Ministry of Education, Procurement Executive Office.
6. Bids and sample of the items must be delivered to the address below on or before December 20, 2024.
