Terms of Reference (ToR) Printing Job Aid

1.Background to Building Resilience in Ethiopia – Technical Assistance (BRE-TA)

The ‘Building Resilience in Ethiopia – Technical Assistance’ (BRE-TA) programme aims to strengthen Government of Ethiopia (GoE) systems so that they can deliver a more effective, pre-financed and accountable response to humanitarian and climate shocks. The shock responsive safety net (SRSN) workstream of BRE-TA provides technical assistance to strengthen the government system. Shock responsive safety net (SRSN) is one of the major components of the Productive Safety Net Program and it has a specific operation manual The operational manual outlines the Shock Responsive PSNP principles and emerging Parameters and woreda level procedures for the provision of support shock-response transfers. Accordingly, a shock responsive safety net (SRSN) job aid has been designed to make the procedures and processes accessible to staff.

2.The Purpose

The aim of printing and dissemination of the shock-responsive safety net operational manual into a job aid is to equip technical implementers at all levels with the awareness and knowledge to implement the SRSN component as designed. The purpose of this assignment is to engage a company for printing the design job aid material on the Shock Responsive Safety Net (SRSN) activities

3. Shock Responsive Safety Net Job Aid Print Specifications

1. Job name and description- The Shock Responsive Safety Net (SRSN) job aid is designed to be printed and disseminated to implementers. The job aid is prepared in four languages of English, Amharic, Oromiffa and Somali.
2. Printing Quantity and editing/formatting- The job aid will be printed in a total of 15,278 copies. The copies for each language is presented below and will be edited/formatted as per the English version as necessary and should be printed and delivered accordingly.

3. Page count - The number of pages for the job aid is 56 pages Paper stock - The paper for printing the cover page will be 250gsm and the inside 150gsm. The paper will be a shiny smooth paper. The cover page will be laminated
4. Inks - The job aid is going to be printed with 4-color job OR FULL color.
5. Binding - The printed document will be bounded. The binding will be perfect binding.
6. Delivery - The printed job aids will be packed and delivered to the project office within 10 days.
7. Sample review: You are invited to review the sample to our office around Kazanchis, ECA Road, Opposite to the IOM Office, Shebere Building First Floor

4.Requirements

The printed shock responsive safety net (SRSN) job aid will be provided as sample and will be part of the specification. The files for the job aid will be provided in soft copies.

The company must present a printed sample of the job aid before issuing a contract.
