INVITATION TO BID

1. The Ethiopian Red Cross Society BG Branch invites sealed bid from eligible and qualified supplier with their renewed trade license for the year 2018/19 E.C., registration certificate, Tax Identification & VAT Registration Certificates, Valid supplier's registration certificate and currently valid tax clearance and All bidders must fill, sign & seal Declaration of conformity for the bid procurement of construction & industrial materials as listed below.

2. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of one lot or more than one bidding document against a non-refundable payment of ETB 400 (four Hundred Birr) from ERCS BG Branch Logistics Department Procurement Unit; Assosa. Located in front of Semhal hotel.
3. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society along with a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in acceptable Forms (CPO Only) SPECIFIED IN THE BIDDING DATA SHEET amounting to 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The CPO should be valid for 30 days after bid validity.
4. The bidder shall submit mother envelop sealed bidding document with enclose one big sealed envelope of TECHNICAL/ Legal documents and FINANCIAL OFFER and both shall be produced in separate sealed envelopes labeled as ORIGINAL and COPY. The four envelopes including the CPO shall then be sealed in and signed outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below.
5. Bids will be closed on the 15th consecutive calendar day of this announcement. The bid submission window is strictly fixed for Wednesday, November 11, 2026, between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM. Bids will be officially closed on November 11, 2026, at 2:30 PM and opened on the same day (Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 2:40 PM) in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the ERCS Benishangul-Gumuz Regional Branch Office, Assosa.Failure to comply with the conditions from No.1 to 5 above may result in an automatic rejection.
6. Ethiopian Red Cross Society reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without fixing any reason thereof.
7. ERCS reserves the right to compare the lowest price item by item.
8. If the 15th consecutive calendar day's day is a holiday, closing and opening will be the next working day.
