The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract [1] for procurement of Personal Safety Materials.

1. The Shashamane City Administration Finance  office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers(“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Shashamane City Administration Finance office Around Abosto Bekera Building far side 300m Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 2:30 AM– 5:30 PM (local time) at the address given below.
3. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 500 birr. The method of payment will be  in Cooperative Bank of Oromia ,Account number of CBO 1000001054973.
4. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 06/06/2016at 4:00AM

(Local Time) and will be open the same day at 4:30AM (Local Time) on 30the calendar Days on Announcement of the Ethiopian Herald. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below striate address at the end of this invitation and also bidders should submit sealed bid documents containing one original and one copy.

All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security “CPO or unconditional Guarantee issued by a Bank for Lot-1, /49,000.00Birr/ Lot-2 /86,000.00Birr / and Lot-3 /31,000.00Birr / Totally for Lot 1,2 & 3 are =166,000.00 Birr /One hundred sixty six thousand birr only/ from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Shashamane City Administration Finance office.
2. The Shashamane City Administration Finance office reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
