Mothers and Children Multi-Sectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) is an indigenous, non-governmental, and non-profit organization established in 1997. It is re-registered in accordance with the Civil Societies Organization (CSO) Proclamation No. 1113/2019, with certificate number 0022.

Currently, MCMDO is signed a project proposal agreement for Upgrading Koso Menchi Water Scheme by Solar Pumping in Amhara Region, Debre Berhan Zone, Tebase Sub-city, Angolala Kebele, in collaboration with Debre Berhan Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise (DBWSSSE).

MCMDO hereby invites competent Company who can supply 4kW Lorentz solar water pumps with its full sets, install, commission and train operators and technicians for above mentioned sites based on the detail specification of bid document.

Eligibility Requirements

MCMDO considers tenderers as eligible suppliers when they fulfil the Following requirements;

▪  The bidders should Share Our Mission and Vision - Bidders must demonstrate a clear understanding of and alignment with our organization's mission and vision. - This can be expressed through a brief statement in the proposal outlining how their values, operations, or goals support our charitable objectives.

▪  The tenders should be locally registered with renewed Trade License for the current year, VAT registration certificate, Taxpayer Identification Certificate (TIN) & Tax clearance certificate stating the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender

▪  Bidders should deposit non-returnable birr 500 (five hundred birr) for each bid to the nearby CBE bank referring this tender number to Mothers and Children Multi-sectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) account Number 1000004544618. Bidders should bring the deposit slip and take the tender document.

▪  Experience and Qualification

▪  Bidders should provide evidence of previous experience of designing, supplying, transporting, installing, testing, commissioning, training and providing after sales service and spare parts in similar solar pumping systems.This includes:

▪  A list of similar contracts completed in the past two years.

▪  References from at least three previous clients.

▪  Bid Security

▪  Bidders shall provide bid security in the form of a Cash Payment Order (CPO) amounting to 2% of their bid offer, made out in the name of Mothers and Children Multi-sectoral Development Organization (MCMDO). The bid security must remain valid for a minimum of one month from the bid submission deadline.

Bidders must provide a complete set of price listings according to the specified requirements. Each item must have its unit clearly stated.

▪  Submission Location

Tender documents should be submitted to: MCMDO Head Office, Yeka Sub City, woreda 08 Shola Gebeya Around School of Tomorrow

▪  Supply and Instalation

Bidders must agree to Supply and Install of 4kW Lorentz solar water pump within 45 /Forty Five days in Amhara Region, Debre Berhan Zone, Tebase Sub-city, Angolala Kebele Koso Menchi Site.

Bid Closing and Opening

•         The bid will close 5 / Five working days after the advertisement date in the newspaper ( on April 01/2026) at 10:30 local Time

•         Bids will be opened at Addis Ababa MCMDO Head Office on April 02, 2026, at 5:00 AM local time in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives.
