The German Foundation for World Population (DSW) invites eligible external auditor to submit proposal for the auditing of the project specific financial audit for the Period 2025 fiscal year.

Invitation for External Auditors

The German Foundation for World Population (DSW) is a global development organization that focuses on the needs and potential of the largest youth generation in history Currently, we are implementation the project titled "integrated Approach" Sexual and Reproductive Health and Livelihood Empowerment of Young People for Positive Coexistence with their Environment in Bishoftu City, Oromia Region" since January 2025 and the donor requires the one-year audit report.

This is therefore, DSW invites eligible external auditor to submit proposal for the auditing of the project specific financial audit for the Period 2025 fiscal year.

Scope of Work

The external auditor is for the following major responsible for: -

The audit should confirm that the finical procedures were done in accordance to the financial policies and procedures of DSW as well as the donor requirements.

Timely and complete reflection of all transactions with complete documentation through appropriate receipts and vouchers.

Review of project agreements with respective to completeness, on time reporting, reports and record keeping.

Requires to submit standardize audit report, with statements management letter with the statements and explanations regarding the financial system and procedures including the auditor’s professional recommendation.

The selected auditor is expected to finalized the audit report before the mid of March 2026

Requirements

1.       Renewed professional license

2.       Registration certification from Authority of Civil Society (ACSO)

3.       Certificate of competence from Accounting and Audit Board of Ethiopia (AABE)

4.       VAT registration & TIN Certificate

5.       Company profile & CVs of the professional staff assigned to the Audit

6.       Experience of Auditing NGOs of the project (Recommendation letter)

7.       Submit the time schedule for the completion of the audit

How to apply

Interested audit firms fulfilling the requirements are requested to submit the bid application documents. The technical and financial proposal with the relevant documents shall be submitted to DSW Ethiopia through email: to meskerem.endalkachew@dsw.org and Feyera.Abdissa@dsw.org within Three (3) days from the first date of this announcement posted.
