Lidiya Memorial Construction PLC invites sealed bids from eligible GC-5 or BC-5 and above contractors for the Construction of Structural work from Semi Basement Vertical structure to 9th floor horizontal Structure of 3B+SB+G+16 Building Project to be completed within 420 calendar days, nothing that the project shall be executed without, any advance payment & that the employer has secured sufficient funds and will provide a bank guarantee to selected Contractor.

Structural System; - The project features a post-tensioned slab system, fully designed, supplied, and executed by the Client or an appointed specialist, with all post-tensioning works (design, stressing, anchorage) excluded from the the Contractor's scope

Bidder Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must present:

• Renewed Trade license for the year 2018 E.C
• Renewed Competency certificate of registration of category GC-5/BC-5 and Above from authorized body.
• Tax Clearance certificate stating the bidder is eligible to participate in any tender & valid at least at the dead line for submission of bids.
• VAT registration certificate
• Tax Identification Number (TIN)
• Registration of FPPA as Supplier.

• Available at the office of Lidiya Memorial Construction PLC, located on the 2nd floor of Mayswi Building, along the road from Wengelawit to Gorgoriyos, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
• Fee: ETB 800.00 (non-refundable)
• Start date: From first publication in Ethioplan Addis Zemen newspaper
• Required: Written application + eligibility documents (see item 1)

Bid Security

Each bid must be accompanied by an unconditional bank guarantee or C.P.O of ETB 650,000.00, valid for 120 calendar days from the bid opening date, clearly stating the Employer's name and the validity period-failure to comply will result in rejection.

Document Preparation

• The technical proposal must be submitted in one original and two copies, each properly signed, stamped, and wax-sealed, with sequential page numbering (failure to do so results in a 5-point deduction), must not include any
• financial information, and submission of forged documents will lead to criminal accountability, forfeiture of bid security, and disqualification.

2.Final Packaging

All documents (technical, financial, bid security) must be enclosed in one large outer envelope.

Submission & Opening Venue

Bids must be hand-delivered to Lidiya Memorial Construction PLC, Mayswi Building, 2nd Floor, From Wengelawit to Gorgoriyas Road, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, within 21 calendar days of the announcement in the Ethiopian Addis Zemen newspaper by 4:00 AM local time-extended to the next working day if the deadline falls on a holiday-as electronic bids are not accepted and late submissions will be rejected; all bids will be opened on the same day at 4:30 PM local time in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
