Agriterra Ethiopia seeks proposals from firms wishing to be considered for the provision of external audit services for a period of three years.

Agriterra is legally registered International NGO having its headquarters in Arnhem, Netherlands. Agriterra Ethiopia office has been re-registered and licensed by the FDRE Agency for Civil Society Organizations proclamation No. 1113/2019 with accreditation no. 3513 issued on 03/06/2019.

Scope of Work

As per the standing guideline and requirement of FDRE Agency for Civil Society Organizations, Agriterra Ethiopia hereby invites interested and qualified Grade "AB" audit firms to submit a sealed tender to conduct the annual audit of our books of account for the fiscal year January 01.2025 to December 31, 2027.

It is expected that the successful organization will be retained for a further three years and management will prepare the financial statements that will be subject to the audit and make available to the Auditor(s). Interested audit firm should submit their proposal with the following requirements:

• Grade A. B. as per the classification of the office of the Federal Auditor General of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
• Tax payer's identification certificate, VAT registration certificate and valid and renewed trade licenses.
• The audit firm's profile, full address and relevant past audit experience in general and for INGO's in particular, staff composition, a minimum of two client references (including their names, phone numbers and email addresses] who may be contacted to confirm the satisfactory delivery of services by key team member on previous assignments, and other useful information.
• Organization who can finalize and submit the Audit report in a reasonable time.
• Renewed Professional License
• Registration with Accounting & Auditing Board of Ethiopia
• Evidence of settlement of all taxes for the fiscal year 2014 EC.
• Number of the audit team, experience and qualification to be involved in the audit assignment.
• The schedule to accomplish the audit work, and final audited report submission date
• At least 5 years minimum experience with INGO's and evidence of performance of similar tasks
• Details of your proposed fees for the work specified in the scope of work above, on both an hourly and fixed fee basis

General Information

The submission of a proposal does not constitute a legally binding agreement between Agriterra and any supplier. It is part of an overall selection process intended to enable Agriterra to identify a potential successful supplier for the provision of services described herein. The goal of this RFP process is to identify those suppliers who offer the best delivery of service and value and demonstrate the highest degree of capability for providing and implementing the functions and objectives of the project. A contract will be entered into between the successful supplier and Agriterra with terms of reference.

Agriterra is not bound to negotiate with the lowest cost or any supplier and may, in its sole discretion, discontinue the RFP process and/or cancel the initiatives as outlined prior to the execution of the contract. Any convasing will lead to automatic disqualifications.

Invitation to submit proposals

Agriterra invites interested service providers to submit their quotations for the required services no later than October 11, 2025. Proposals must meet the stated requirements and be submitted in a sealed and stamped envelope to the Agritera Office, located at- Wollo Sefer, in front of Wengelawit Building, Kasma Building, 6th Floor.
