Invitation to Bid for purchase of Laptop computer for Public Bid No: PR # - Supply of

Laptop Computer to (FAWE-Eth/Mastercard Foundation phase II proiect,

FAWE Ethiopia Chapter wishes to invite legally recognized Suppliers of Laptop computers for (for 200 program participants) as per the attached BOQ

Note:

• All short-listed suppliers shall be required to submit samples for the laptops during screening process.
• All laptop must be brand new, and unused. No refurbished, reconditioned or opened and unofficially upgraded units will be accepted. All internal hardware components (processor, RAM, storage, battery, etc.) must be original manufacturer parts and match the official HP specifications for the quoted model.

Eligible bidders should meet the following criteria:

• Renewed Business license and registration of this budget/fiscal year in the same category
• Tax (VAT, Tin, and tax clearance) registration certificate.
• Submission of Experience letter or letter of recommendation for supply of such category is advantage.
• Bid Guarantee letter, 500,000 ETB or 2% of the total cost for six months; (CPO, Unconditional bank guarantee).
• Bidder must submit CPO or Unconditional bank guarantee in the name of FAWE Ethiopia Chapter
• Laptop brands and specification should clearly be written on bid document or quotation.
• Delivery of the items (the laptops) shall be completed within one month after placing of the order
• The envelope shall be stamped and sealed.

Bid Submission guidelines

1. The technical document & financial proposal should be submitted separately based on the above requirements.
2. Cost of the item should clearly show before and after 15% VAT of the item.
3. This tender advert shall be considered as a formal RFQ.
4. The documents must be clearly labeled and sealed, "Bid for Supply of Laptop computers for program participant sand put PR number 016" and submitted to the address indicated below.
5. All documents should be hand delivered and placed in a Tender Box at the reception area in our office located at the address Around Gursdshola next to Athletics Federation Sisters CSO building 3rd floor office no. 303 no later than August 20,202 4:00 Pm.
6. Failure to meet the above Eligibility criteria and bid submission guidelines will be automatically disqualified for the tender.
7. The bid issue date is August 18,2025, and the closing date for submitting the tender document is August 27,2025, 4:00 PM after noon. All times are GMT & follow the G Gregorian Calendar. All bids submitted after that date will be rejected.
8. Bid proposals will be opened without the presence of bidders based on "put your company name policy and FAWE Ethiopia Chapter has the right to cancel the bid fully or partially.
9. Should you have any concern or question for clarity please send your query to email: selamawit.admassu@faweethiopia.org  within five consecutive days of bid advert, other than that trying to reach out to  the office is totally not acceptable.
10. Warranty should only be considered as a replacement not maintenance.
11. Warranty year may vary based on the manufacturer. Minimum (Standard) Warranty is for 1 Year.
12. The time period for the replacements should be minimal as much as possible.
13. For all brands, the availability of spare parts must be indicated clearly.

Integrity

FAWE Ethiopia practices procurement with integrity. Any attempt to influence the outcome, gain unfair advantage, or otherwise compromise the integrity of the procurement process can lead to automatic disqualification.
