Ministry of Finance (MOF) Invites Eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Laptop Computer

PROCUREMENT OF Laptop Computer

1. The Federal Democratic of Ethiopia, Ministry of Finance has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Human capital operation project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the supply of Laptop Computers The ministry of finance, the implementing entity of the project, now invite invites sealed quotation from eligible Bidders for supply of the following items:

Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 and revised November 2017 and August 2018 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Finance and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 8:30Am to 5:00 PM hour at the address given below
4. The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of ETB 100 (One Hundred). The method of payment will be in cash.
5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00pm on August, 4,2025, Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' or designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on August, 4, 2025 at 2:30pm.
6. All Bids must be accompanied by a "Bid Security"; the bid security amount is ETB 50,000.00.
7. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
