INVITATION FOR BID IFB NO: NCB/EEC/13/2017

The Ethiopian Engineering Corporation (EEC) invites wax sealed bids from all interested registered and eligible bidders for supply and delivery for Water well drilling truck mounted rig.

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) specified in the Procurement Directive of the EEC, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Team Leader, Block 1, Floor 4, Procurement Team Office and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours (Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM; 1:30 PM-4:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM-11:30 AM; and 1:30 PM-4:00 PM.)
3. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 300.00 (Three Hundred Birr) starting from the date of this publication.
4. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security: If a bid security is required, the amount of the bid security shall be in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee letter from Commercial Bank of the purchaser country and must be addressed to "Ethiopian Engineering Corporation" in separate envelope, and be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 AM on April 29, 2025. Bid security in the form of insurance bond shall not be accepted.
5. Bids will be opened April 29, 2025 at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives, who choose to attend; at the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
6. Bidders shall be required to submit:
   1. 1. Sealed Technical Proposal including eligibility documents (mandatory documentary evidence): one original and one copy; and also
      2. Sealed Financial Proposal: one original and one copy; and also
      3. (CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee
7.  EEC reserve the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
