 EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES

Ethiopian Women Rights Advocate (EWRA) is a non-profit organization established on February 15, 2021. It has registered and accorded legal personality with register number 5398 from the Ethiopian Authority for CSO invites Eligible Certified audit firms registered with AABE to submit proposals for audit service for the period from January 2024 to December 31 2024.

Deliverables:

• Audit report
• Management letter

Eligibility Criteria: Interested audit firm must submit both financial and technical proposals and the following requirements:

• A copy of a renewed trade license for 2024/2025 (2017 EC).
• A copy of the TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) and VAT (Value Added Tax).
• A copy tax clearance, Registration with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
• A detailed audit plan, including scope, methodology. timeline, and the final audit report submission date.
• Experience in auditing NGOS is preferred, especially for firms with relevant experience.
• Proposals must be submitted between 02/03/2025 and 13/03/2025, by 5:00 PM. Late submissions will not be considered.
• EWRA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, at its discretion during the evaluation process.

Scope of Work: The external audit will cover the following key areas:

• Examination of EWRA's books of accounts for the fiscal year 2024.
• Verification of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, organizational policies, and Ethiopian financial regulations.
• Assessment of internal control systems and governance practices related to financial reporting.
• Submission of an independent audit report, providing an objective opinion on the accuracy, fairness, and completeness of EWRA's financial records.
