INVITATION TO BID FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

1. Background

Adwa Dil Microfinance Institution S .Co is under formation in accordance with the proclamation number 626/2001 (as amended by proclamation number 1164/2012) issued for licensing and supervision of micro financing Institutions in Ethiopia. Currently, the Company is making preparations to hold its first General Assembly by fulfilling necessary requirements set by National Bank of Ethiopia

Adwa Dil Microfinance Institution SC (Under Formation) invites all interested audits firm (bidders) by this Local Competitive bid to perform an external audit service for 3 (three) consecutive fiscal years, starting from fiscal year ending 30 June 2025.

1. Instruction to Bidders
   1. Terms of Reference (TOR) can be obtained from Adwa Dil Microfinance Institution S. Co Project Office located at Defence Officers Club, 1 floor, during office hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm), beginning from February 8, 2025. No payment is required to obtain bid document,
   2. Eligible bidders are required to comply with the NBE directive N MF1/37/204" APPOINTMENT OF EXTERNAL AUDITOR OF A MICROFINCCE INSTITUTION DIRRECTIVE",
   3. Eligible bidders are required to submit at least the following: -

1. Valid and renewed business license,
2. Competence certificate from Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE),
3. TIN, valid tax clearance, and VAT registration certificates, and
4. Organizational profile.
   4. Bidders are required to submit their bid proposals in wax sealed envelope to Adwa Dil Microfinance Institution S.C (Under Formation) Project Office,
   5. Deadline for the submission of bid proposal is on 19 February 2025 at 3:00 PM,
   6. Bid proposals received in time and fulfilling bid formalities shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives on 18º February 2025 pm at 3:30 pm,
