INVITATION FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

ETHIOPIAN SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEMS AND AGROECOLOGY CONSORTIUM (ESFSAC)

ESFSAC is an indigenous non-governmental civil society organization registered with the Agency for Civil Society Organization having a registration number 7120 on January 29, 2024 under Proclamation No. 1113/2019. The purpose of the Consortium is to mobilize state actors and citizens towards adoption of principles and practices of agroecology-based food systems. In line with this, ESFSAC collaborates with the Alliance for Food Sovereignty Africa (AFSA) to influence policies and promote African solutions for food sovereignty. AFSA is a Regional organization with wider representation of small holder farmers, indigenous communities, pastoralists. hunters and gatherers, fisher folks, consumer networks. women and youth networks, faith-based organizations, civil society organizations, and environmentalists from across Africa. One of the current initiatives of ESFSAC is promoting the continental campaign "My Food is African/My Food is Ethiopian".

ESFSAC would like to invite interested and eligible external Audit Firms for CSO Annual Audit amenity to submit their technical and financial proposals in separate envelopes for audit work services of its accounts for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Interested audit firms who wish to send their proposal should fulfil the following requirements

• Renewed professional license
• Competency certificate from Office of Federal Audit General
• Registered chartered accounts certificate
• Tax identification number and value-added tax certificate
• Renewed business license in the year 2025
• Relevant skill/work experience
• Adequate and experienced personnel
• Awareness about the CSO proclamation and related guidelines
• A schedule or detailed audit plan, that includes expected audit start date and completion date.
• ESFSAC reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bids at any time without assigning any reason or reason whatsoever.
• Awarding criteria
• Experience, Capability (weighted average Technical and Financial offer basis)

NB: Business closing date will be applicable (fifteen) 15 days after the date of official advertisement.
