INVITATION TO BID FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

Liyu Microfinance Institution S.C. would like to invite potential and certified audit firms to enter an agreement for three (3) consecutive years to perform audit service starting from the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, onwards. Thus, interested bidders can collect TOR for audit engagement within 15 days following the advertisement.

Instruction to Bidders

The bidders should submit at least the following external audit engagement requirements along with the audit engagement proposal:

1. Bidders must have a renewed trade license and registration certificate from the Accounting & Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).

2. Certificate of competence from the Accounting & Auditing Board of Ethiopia.

3. VAT and TIN registration certificate.

4. Tax clearance certificate for 2016 E.C.

5. The deadline for submission of Technical and financial proposals in separately sealed envelopes on/before October 15, 2024, at 12:30 PM to the HR & Administration Department located at Bole Sub-city around Hayahulet Mazoria near New Day Hotel, Liyu MFI Head Office 1st floor.

6. Bid proposals will be opened on October 15, 2024, at 1:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the same premise.

7. Audit firms shall submit three clearly stated FY 2025(July 1,2024 to June 30,2025), FY 2026(July 1,2025 to June 30,2026), and FY 2027(July 1,2026 to June 30,2027) audit service fee including VAT and other expenses separately.

8. Bidders can collect Terms of Reference (TOR) free of charge for the audit engagement from Liyu Microfinance Institution S.C. Head Office 1^st floor, HR &Administration Department.

9. Liyu MFI reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid at any time
