Invitation of Bid for Bridge Construction

The sidama Roas Authority allocated sufficienet budget towars the cost of the construction of the remaining work of the follwing two river bridg projects: which as been terminated so far due to contractor defects 

1. interested bidders shall submit the following evidence:

i. Certificate of registraction from Ministry of Uraban Development of regional stae with category GC-5/RC - 5 for construction of abovementioned project which is valid for current budget year and other appropriate documentaryevidences that demonstrates the bidder's compliance, which shall include:

ii. Business License Valid for this year 

iii. Commercial Registration certificate 

iv. Construction competency certificate from the Ministry of Urban Development and construction valid for this fiscal year 

v. VAT Registration certificate 

vi. Taxpayer registration certificate 

vii. permission Certificate for bidding from legal authorities valid at least at the date of bid submission 

viii. Evidence of /Being/ registered supplier under public procurement and property Administration Agency (PPPAA).

2.Bidders shall submit threeenvelope; "Qualification information' (one original sealed separately and eac three copies sealed separately then funally sealed with one outer envelope), "Bid security" and "Finacial Bid" (one original sealed separately and each three copies sealed separately then finally sealed with one outer envelope)and finally three envelopes shuld be sealed in one an outer envelope.

a. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Qualification information first and Financial Bids of qualified bidders at the second.

b. Interested eligible bidders may obtam further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 to 12:30 a.m and 1:30 to 5:30 p.m from Monday to Thurssay and 8:30 to 11:30 a.m and 1:30 p.m on Friday's 

C.A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 600/ six hundred birr for each, during working hours of 28 successive calendar days starting from the first date of notification of this advertisement on Ethiopian Herald. The final submission date and opening of proposal will be on the 29th date of this announcement on the Ethiopian herald at 2:00 PM & 2:30 PM respectively. if the 29th date is not a working day, it will be on the next working days at the same time.

d.Bids must be delivered to the below address on or before 2:p.m of the above said date. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 200,00 (Two hundred thousand) birr for Namicha and 150,000 (ine hundred fifty thousand) birr for Tibiro and valid for 28 days plus period of bid balidity which is 120 (one Hundred Twenty) days and late bids will be rejected.

e. Any contractor who has one or more works within the sidama N/R/S and hasn't accomplished more than or equal to 70% of the work and who has no recommendation letter from our office until the closing date of this bid, will not participate in this bid.

f. An interested bidder can participate in one of the two projects.

g. sidama Roads Authority reserves the right to accept or reject part or all of the bidding process.
