1.. Sidama National Regional State Irrigation Developmet agency  through the goverment of Ethiopia has received a buget from Governmental Capital-Program toward the cost of the Irrigation project and it interends to apply part of budgets to cober eligible payments under the contract for civil workd Constraction of Geo Namicha Doyo Otilcho Small Scale Irrigation prijects.

2 The Sidama National Regional State IrrigationDedvelopment Agency invites  wax-selaed bids from intereseted eligible&qualified bidders for provision for the constyracsion of the attached three /3/ Small scale Irrigation projects civil works Contractors and General Contractors who have Water Works Competence Certificate from Ministry of Water Irrigation projects civil Works in Wonsho Chirone&Hawassa Zuria weredas.

3.. Interested eligible Water Works Contractors and General Contractors who have Water Works Competence Certificate from Ministry of Water Irrigation and Energy /WWC and GC who are also WWC/ who have renwed trade license TIN VAT Current Tax Clearance Tax Payer registration certificates that enables the bidders to participate in bid for the buget yeqar and Suppliers Registration Certificates registrated in Suppliers list for which this Invitation for Bid is issud.

4. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security 150  calander days for Geo 210 for Namicha and 120 calander days for doyo Otilcho in the form of  either of an uncondtional gurantee iaaued by a bank/CPO in the amount as indicated in the attached table Insurance bond is not acceptable.

5.. Biding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding prcedures as specified in the PPA Guidelines:

6. Biddrs who wish to copete for more than one project must meet the qualificatiojn criteria separatly set for each project they are cometing for.

7. A complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased by intereseted bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500 /Five hundred Ethiopia Birr only/ for each projekt  The method of paymenetwill be deposit in ACC No 1000351753707.

8.. BId must be delivered to the SNRS Irrigation Development Agency procurement Finace and property Adminstration Directorate Room number 9 3rd floor at or before 2:00pm after 21 consecutive days including Sunday and Saturday from the date of this announcement If 22th day is weekend or Ethiopia holiday the bid will open next working day Electronic bidding will not be permitted.

9. Bidders who wish to particpate in the bidding process should  submit for each project 1 /Onr/ Original and 2 /Two/ Copies of Separately Seald Technical and finacial document all in one  Envelope to the address below befor the bid  submission deadline stated above.

10 The Bidders must prepare Bid submission from with its letterhead clearly showing the Bidder's complete name and business address and submitted in the technical bidding document Otherwise it will be rejected.

11.. Bidders who are working in our region &whose project construction progress was under 70 can't participate in the bid In addtion to this a contractor who was warnerd due to project time elapsed &construction defect can't participate in the bid Even if he/she partic[pated it will be rejected.

i2 The agency reserves the reght to accept or reject parts of or the entire bid bid
