1. Addis Ababa City Administration Urban Beautification and Greenery Bureau (AACAUBG) has the budget to be used for the procurement of skeleton recycling (skeleton withdrawal and transfer to depots) of Philipose and Catholic Cemetry Works in One Package (Phase-1) located at Addis Ababa.
2. The AACAUBG now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of the works mentioned above. Firms already engaged in cemetery works in our bureau are not allowed to participate in this bid.
3. Bidders are required to submit an application letter, renewed Business license, and Valid Tax clearance to collect the bidding document.
4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to Grade BC-5 OR GC -5 and above eligible bidders.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from AACAUBG and inspect the bidding document at the address given below from 2:30 to 11:30, local time during office days.
6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address given below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00. (Five Hundred Birr). The method of payment will be in cash.
7. Bid must be delivered to the address below on or before 8:00, afternoon, local time up to the 21st of Consecutive calendar days of this announcement appearing in the newspaper. If the day is not working, it will be the next working day. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security Birr 60,000.00 (Sixty Thousand Birr) in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee in ETB.
8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend at the address below on the 21st of consecutive calendar days of this announcement appearing in the newspaper at 8:30 afternoon local time. If the day is not working, it will be the next working day.
9. AACAUBG reserves the right to reject any or all bids and any items on the bid.
