Silte Zone Administration Office invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary material, labor and equipment for the construction and completion of Silte Zone Administration Building in its premises in Worabe Town

INVITATION TO BID (ITB) FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BID(ICB) (REBID)

To all Contractors of category GC-3/BC-2 and above with license valid for the 2014 E.C. Project Procurement reference No: year

1. Silte Zone Administration Office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary material, labor, and equipment for the construction and completion of Silte Zone Administration Building in its premises in Worabe Town.
2. The bidder has to present a valid license (Trade and construction/, Tax Clearance letter and VAT registration certificate, and Tin Registration to buy the document.
3. Eligible bidders are required to submit Technical and Financial proposals original and copy them in a separate envelope. A contractor will be selected under the Quality and Cost-based selection procedures described in the bidding document.
4. A complete set of bid documents may be purchased by any interest-eligible bidder at: Silte Zone Finance department, Tel: 046 771 0586/946 771 0010, Fax:046 771 0510, Worabe against a non-refundable fee of birr 500.00 /Five hundred Birr/.
5. Any quires can be forwarded to the procuring entity from Monday to Friday at working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of CPO or Bank  Guarantee amounting to ETB 500,000.00 (Five hundred thousand Birr only). Bids must be delivered to Silte Zone finance department, Tel: 046 771 0586/046 771 0010, Fax:046 771 0510 Worabe, Ethiopia on or before 3:00 PM of the 35th day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender. The technical proposal will be opened on the same day, at 3:30 PM in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. If the 35th day is not a working day, the bid will be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working day. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening.
7. The Financial Proposal of the bidders who pass the technical evaluation shall be opened in the presence of bidders who wish to attend, on the date to be announced by the employer.
8. Silte Zone Administration Office will post all detail and necessary information regarding this tender announcement on its website http://www.-_Furthermore, the Silte Zone finance department will post all necessary notices regarding this project on its website. Therefore, all interested applicants are advised to refer to the official website throughout the period of the bid process.
9. Silte Zone finance department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
