RE-ADVERTISEMENT: INVITATION TO BID FOR THE SUPPLY OF A TEFF THRESHING MACHINE

Movement for Ecological Learning and Community Action - Ethiopia (MELCA-Ethiopia) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible, licensed, and experienced providers for Teff Threshing Machine with the following specification below.

3. Power Unit

4. Threshing Drum

5. Cleaning System

Features

• Quick-change sieve system
• Galvanized or carbon steel mesh
• Replaceable without dismantling the machine

6. Safety Features

• Transmission elements guarded
• Feeding safety shield

7. Accessories

• Donkey pulled cart with tire wheels with rigid frame
• Tool kits (spanners) for main bolts and nuts
• Belts

8. Additional Services/ Requirement

• The supplier should provide maintenance and repair service for at least 1 year
• The supplier should provide operational and safety manual for the machineries

Bid Requirements and Submission Guidelines

1. Hold a valid business license and relevant registration documents for the supply of agricultural machinery.
2. Submit a technical proposal demonstrating compliance with the required specifications of the Teff Threshing Machine.
3. Submit a financial offer indicating the total price, including applicable taxes and delivery costs.
4. Provide information on the machine's manufacturer, model, engine type, warranty, and after-sales maintenance services.
5. Include evidence of relevant experience in supplying similar agricultural machinery, where available.

Submission Guidelines:

• Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked "Bid for the Supply of Teff Threshing Machine."
• Technical and financial offers must be clearly presented, accompanied by the required supporting documents.
• Bids must be delivered to MELCA-Ethiopia's Head Office Near to Ambassador Theater, Main Post Office with in 5 working days following the date of this bid announcement
• MELCA-Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with its procurement procedures.
