NCB: Ref No. ET-SWEPR- 526568-CW-RFQ/ Construction of Nutrition Corner Demonstration Center in Konta woreda

TO ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY GC/BC Grade 9 and Above

1. Konta Zone Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Cooperative Development Department Food System Resilience Program Unit have funds with the budget to be used for the procurement of Construction of Nutrition Corner Demonstration Center in Konta woreda.
2. Konta Zone Finance, Economy & Development Department sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of works mentioned below.
   • Competence Certificate (Contractors Registration Certificate) from the concerned Ministries (Ministry of Construction /Responsible regional office);
   • GC/BC-9 and above construction company Renewed for the year 2018 E.C
   • Renewed Trade license for the year 2018 E.C
   • VAT registration certificate
   • Updated Tax Clearance from in land revenue- (valid within the bid process time.)
   • Registration Certificate in the suppliers list under Public Procurement & Property Administration Agency.
3. Bidders should be required to submit application letter, renewed Business license, certificate of competence, valid tax clearance certificate and etc. to collect the bidding document.
4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Limited tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all GC Grade 9/BC Grade 9 and above eligible bidders.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Konta Zone Finance, Economy & Development Department– Procurement and Finance Directorate and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 11(a) from 2:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. local time
6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address given below at 11(a) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00. The method of payment will be in Konta Zone Finance, Economy & Development Department. Bidders can collect the Bidding document from address below at 11(b).
7. In addition to the original of the Bid, the number of copies required is: 2 (Two) copies; (Two of Financial & Two of Technical proposal).
8. The Bid will be floated for 15 consecutive calendar days counted from the date of announcement of the tender.
9. Bid must be delivered to the Address below at 11(b) on or before 16th day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender.
10. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security Birr 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand birr) in the form of CPO from Bank.
11. Bids will be closed and opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 11 (b) at 4:00 o'clock and 4:30 o'clock local time respectively on 16th day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender.

    (b) Bids must be delivered to and will be opened at Konta Zone Finance, Economy & Development Department – Procurement and Finance Directorate

12. Konta Zone Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Cooperative Development Department reserve the right to reject any or all bids and any items on the bid.
