Non-profitmaking, non-political and non-denominational, the organization works under the leadership of an honorary board and the patronage of the German Federal President. WHH has been successfully operating different projects in the country since 1972.

Welthungerhilfe invites qualified and licensed companies to submit proposals for the Assessment of the Labor Market and Employment Ecosystem in the Tigray Region, covering the following locations: Mekelle, Wukro, Abi-Adi, Adwa, and Axum.
