BID ANNOUNCEMENT NO. MCMDO 15/2026

PROCUREMENT OF VACCINATION AND DEWORMING SERVICES FOR GOATS

Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO), an indigenous NGO registered under CSO Proclamation No. 1113/2019, Certificate No. 0022, invites eligible and qualified service providers to submit sealed bids for the provision of vaccination and deworming services for goats under the HER Project - "Strengthening Resilience by Empowering Women and Girls in Areas Affected by the Sudanese Conflict."

Service Location: Ura Settlement, Benishangul-Gumuz Region, Ethiopia.

1.     ITB DOCUMENTS

Complete bidding documents, including the Vaccination Requirements, Schedule of Requirements, and Technical Specifications, are available on the MCMDO website: www.mcmdo.org/bid

2.     ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Interested bidders shall submit:

▪  Valid business/trade license;

▪  Valid TIN certificate;

▪  Valid VAT registration certificate, where applicable;

▪  Valid tax clearance certificate:

▪  Evidence of relevant experience in veterinary, livestock, vaccination, or related services;

▪  Details of at least three (3) professional references;

▪  Evidence of qualified veterinary/livestock professionals; and

▪  Evidence of capacity to provide the required services at the specified location and within the required timeframe.

Suppliers registered and operating in Benishangul-Gumuz Region are encouraged to participate, provided they meet all applicable bidding requirements.

3.     BID SECURITY

Bidders shall submit a bid security equivalent to 2% of the total bid price in the form of a Bid Bond or Bank Guarantee in favor of MCMDO.

The bid security shall remain valid for at least one (1) month after the bid submission deadline.

4.     BID SUBMISSION

Sealed bids shall be submitted to either of the following MCMDO offices:

Addis Ababa:

Yeka Sub-City, Woreda 08

Shola Gebeya, near School of Tomorrow

Assosa:

MCMDO Coordination Office

Near Gebriel Youth Center

Assosa, Benishangul-Gumuz Region

The sealed envelope shall be clearly marked:

"BID FOR VACCINATION AND DEWORMING SERVICES FOR GOATS BID ANNOUNCEMENT NO. MCMDO 15/2026"

5.     SUBMISSION DEADLINE AND BID OPENING

Bid Submission Deadline: September 30, 2026 at 10:30 Local time

Bid Opening: October 5, 2026 at 8:00 Local Time

Opening Venue: MCMDO Head Office, Addis Ababa

Late bids will not be accepted.

6.     BID EVALUATION

Bids will be evaluated based on:

▪  Administrative and legal compliance:

▪  Technical capacity and relevant experience;

▪  Availability of qualified personnel;

▪  Quality and safety of the proposed services;

▪  Capacity to deliver the services at the required location and within the required timeframe; and

▪  Overall value for money, considering quality, reliability, compliance, and price.

MCMDO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with its procurement procedures.
