Invitation for Bid

YADAM Foundation is an Ethiopian non-governmental non-profit making humanitarian organization. Currently, YADAM Foundation is implementing a project called "Empower Her in Amhara Region of Ethiopia."

In line with its mission, YADAM Foundation in partnership with its donors, wants to Construct School Kitchen and Store.

Our approach is emphasizing local participation, an integration of services, strategic partnerships. In this way, we empower communities to find, design, and implement the solutions that work best for them.

Therefore, YADAM Foundation requested interested and eligible contractors to submit their company profile that contain at least below listed mandatory requirements and their financial offer for the above-mentioned work as per the BOQ specified in a separate document.

The BOQ shall be taken from YADAM Foundation by requesting through an email address samuelg@yadamfoundation.org

The organization will strictly evaluate based on at least but not limited to the following evaluation criteria during selection of contractors.

1. Essential Criteria
   • Valid Trade Registration Certificate, Valid Business License, Tax Identification number (TIN) certificate, Value Added Tax Certificate, Tax Clearance
2. Capability Criteria
   • Firms experience as a primary contractor for the past Six years,
   • Annual volume of work for the past 3 years is at least 10,000,000 ETB and above.
   • Experience as a primary contractor for the past years especially in an emergency response project and successfully accomplished it is considered advantageous.
3. Financial Criteria
   • Financial proposals shall be offered based on the BOQs which indicate validity period.
4. Additional requirement
   • The winning contractor will deliver all materials input for the work. And is expected to execute the work including provision of all required equipment for the work. Bidders who know the local operation areas and context are highly preferable

How to apply:-

Applicants should take necessary documents and/BOQs from YADAM Foundation as per the instruction during working hours (8:30am to 5:30pm). And submit their proposal that contain above-mentioned documents on the day Saturday, September 26, 2026, 10:30 A.m (Morning) local time at North Shewa Zone, Angolola Tera Woreda, Cheki Kebele Administrative office. The proposal will be opened on the same date Saturday, September 26, 2026, 10:30 am local time (morning) at North Shewa Zone, Chacha Wereda Administrative Hall with the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who want to attend.
