1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received grant from the International Development Association toward the cost of study of Living Standards Measurement Study Project-Integrated Surveys on Agriculture and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the Contract for Procurement ofMotor Vehicles.
2. The Central Statistical Agency now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to supply Motor Vehicles.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.5
4. Qualifications requirements include:
-Bidders should submit audited financial statement for the last three years to verify that they have an average annual turnover of at least two times their bid price.
-Bidders should have successfully completed a minimum of 3 contracts which are similar in nature and size within the last five years (threereference letters)
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of ETB 200.00 or equivalent amount in freely convertible currency. Those who want the bid document to be sent by a Courier Service shall pay an additional amount of ETB 515.00 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency for a courier service charge or send a prepaid Courier Service Coupon. The method of payment will be in cash, or Cashier's Payment Order (C.P.O).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before:9 April 2012, at 8:30 P.M Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below on9 April 2012 at 3:00 P.M.All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 60000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
7.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Central Statistical Agency, Procurement and Finance Directorate, Telephone number +251-11-155-30-11 (Ext. - 234) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30a.m 12:30a.m(in the morning) and 1:30p.m 5:30p.m(in the afternoon) during working days.
