1.The FederalDemocratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the WorldBank toward the cost of the Promoting Basic Services Program - Phase III, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of IT Equipment and related office furniture for ManagementInformation System.

2. The Ministry of Water Irrigation and Energy now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement of IT equipment, Computer tables and Chairs. The following are the details

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods  under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers   January 2011 edition, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer toparagraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

4. Interested eligible bidders mayobtain further information from Ministry of Water Irrigation and Energy, Procurement coordinator, Ato Kejela Fufa e-mail kanoliengineering@gmail.com and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 09:00AM to 05:00 PM at the address given below

5. A completeset of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr). The method of payment will be Cash against receipt. The document will be sent by air mail, surface mail, courier as appropriate or can also be delivered to authorized agent of the bidders.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12^th June, 2014, 10:30AM. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend on 12^th June, 2014, 11:00AM atthe address below.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of (Lot-1 ETB 80,000.00), Lot 2-ETB 12,000 Lot 3-ETB 50,000
