1.      The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from International Development Association intends to apply for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the FCPF REDD+ Readiness Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of 11(eleven)4WD Hard top Station Wagon Vehicles and50(fifty)Motor cycle.

2.      The Ministry of Environment and Forest, REDD+ Project Secretariat now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following goods.

1. LOT 1 Supply of 11(eleven) 4WD Hard top Station Wagon Vehicles

2. LOT 2 Supply of 50(fifty) Motor Cycles

3.      Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 revised July 2014 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Environment and Forest, REDD+ Project Secretariat, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia wondwosen Adefris, Procurement specialist ,e-mail : wesenuadefris@gmailand inspect the bidding documents during office hours Monday to Friday : 8:30 am 12:30 am and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday at the address given below.

5.      A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 500.00(Five hundred Ethiopian Birr) or the or the equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash or Cashier's Check. The Bidding Documents will be sent by Courier service.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00AM, 10 March, 2015

Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 10:30am, 10 March 2015

7.      All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of BIRR 660,000(six hundred sixty thousand) for LOT 1 and BIRR 100,000(one hundred thousand) for LOT 2.or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency
