1.                  The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received additional  financing from International Development Association intends to apply for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the REDD+ Project Secretariat, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of 6(Six) 4WD Double Cabin Pick Up Vehicles, Diesel

2.            The Ministry of Environment and Forest, REDD+ Project Secretariat now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following goods.

         1.  Procurement of 6(Six) 4WD Double Cabin Pick Up Vehicles, Diesel

    3.     Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Environment and Forest, REDD+ Project Secretariat, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia wondwosen Adefris, Procurement specialist ,e-mail : wesenuadefris@gmail.com and inspect the bidding documents during office hours Monday to Friday: 8:30 am 12:30 am and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday at theaddress given below

5.   A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to theaddress below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 500.00(Five hundredEthiopian Birr)  or the equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash or Cashier's Check. The Bidding Documents will be sent by Courier service.

6.     Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00AM, 02 April, 2015

  Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened     in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooseto attend at the address below on 10:30am 02 April, 2015

7.   All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of BIRR 240,000(two hundred forty thousand).or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
