Contract title:- Supply and Delivery of Vehicles

1.      The federal Democratic Republicof Ethiopia, Ministry of Agriculture received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of  the Sustainable Land Management Project -  II, and intends to apply part of the proceeds towardpayments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Vehicles .

2.      The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

a. Lot 1 vehicles (21 pick-ups)

b. Lot 2 vehicles (2 station wagons)

3.       Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non Consultancy Services under IBRD Loans and IDA credits and grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraph 1.6 and 1.7 settingforth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture Procurement Case Team and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 9:00 to 12:00 A.M and 2:00 to 5:00 P.M at the address given bellow.

5.      A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders up onthe submission of the written application to the address below and upon payment of nonrefundable fee of Birr 300.00 or an equivalent amountin a freely convertible currency. The method of payment should be cash.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before September 22, 2015 at 2:00P.M. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will bepublicly opened in the presence of the bidder's designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on September 17, 2015 at 2:15P.M.

7.       All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr for lot 1 birr 462,000 and for lot 2 Birr 61,600 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee.
