The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract   for procurement of Personal Safety and protection Materials.
1.    The Adama City Administration Finance and Economic cooperation office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

1    Procurement of Protective coats, women’s overall or coveralls, Hats and Waterproof jacket or raincoat    Within 70 calendar days
2    Procurement of Safety Shoes for Men and Women    Within 70 calendar days
3    Procurement of Protective Gloves Leather and Plastic and Mask or respirators filters    Within 70 calendar days

2.    Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers
3.    Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Adama City Administration Finance and economic cooperation office Around Ethiopian Electric far side 200m Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 8:30 AM– 5:30 PM (local time) at the address given below.
4.    A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 200 birr. The method of payment will be in cash.
5.    Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12/02/2020 at 2:00PM
(Local Time) and will be open the same day at 2:30PM (Local Time) on 30the calendar Days on Announcement of the Ethiopian Herald. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below striate address at the end of this invitation and also bidders should submit sealed bid documents containing one original and two copy.
6.    All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security “CPO or unconditional Guarantee issued by a Bank for Lot-1, /18,500 Birr/ Lot-2 /14,200 Birr / and Lot-3 /7,300 / Totally for Lot 1,2 & 3 are =40,000 /Forty  thousand birr only/ from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Adama City Administration Finance and economic cooperation office.
7.    The Adama City Administration Finance and economic cooperation office reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
