The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Institutional and Infrastructure Development Program (UIIDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of additional equipment (Desktop Computer, Printer Laptop, Server, Smart Television, video Camera for newly established South West Region.

1. The Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure  (MUI) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for below listed item  

2. Bidding will be conducted through Open- National  competitive procurement using a Request for Quotation  (RFQ) method  as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from MUI, Procurement Executive office under Urban Infrastructure Lead executive office , Ato Meskerem Birhane  urefmf@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours.8.30 AM -12:30 AM and 1.30 PM -5.00 PM from Monday to Friday at the address given below.

4. A complete set of the bidding documents in English may be collect interested bidders as of the date of the advertisement is noticed in Ethiopia Herald Newspaper.

5. Bidders shall submit technical and bid Security in one envelop and financial proposal in another envelop the two separate envelopes shall be sealed and enclosed in another envelop

6. Evaluation is to be carried out in Single Stage - One Envelope  Bidding Process

7. Bids must be delivered to the address mentioned below up June 30, 2023 from the date of the advertisement notice appearing on Ethiopian herald News Paper Up to 3:30 PM

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Birr in CPO or equivalent amount of 10,000.00 in other Currencies). Late submission will be rejected. Technical proposal and Financial Proposal with Bid Security of the bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the above mentioned place at 3:30 PM

8. If the Last bid submission and opening date of the bid will appear on closing of working day or holiday the bid will be closed and opens on the next working day with same time and place mentioned on the above.

9. FDRE, MUI Urban Infrastructure Lead Executive office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
