The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Small and Medium Enterprise Finance Project (SMEFP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Communication Equipment (Camera, Digital Display Boards, UPS, Smart led TV, Voice Tracer Digital Recorder, Tripod VCT-520, Digital Wireless Microphone System, LED Video Light  with stand and bag, External Hard Disk and Photo Camera Stand) for Small and Medium Enterprise finance Project office.

1. The Small and Medium Enterprise Finance Project (SMEFP) of Ethiopian Enterprise Development now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for below listed items:

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian Enterprise Development, Small and Medium Finance Project Office under Ministry of Industry, W/ro Yemenzework Girefie, E-mail address: smefp2023@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours. 8.30 AM -12:30 A.M. and 1.30 P.M.-5.00 PM from Monday to Friday at the address given below.

4. A complete set of the bidding documents in English may be collecte from SMEFP without payment as of the date of the advertisement is Noticed posted in Ethiopia Herald Newspaper.

5. Evaluation is to be carried out in One-envelope Bidding Process.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address mentioned below from the date of the advertisement notice appearing on Ethiopian Herald Newspaper up to October 9, 2023 at 3:30 PM.

7. Late submission will be rejected. Technical and Financial Proposals of the bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the above mentioned place at 3:30 PM.

8. FDRE, MOI, Small and Medium Enterprise Finance Project office of Ethiopian Enterprise Development office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
