1. The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of Furniture’s
2. The Oromia Job Creation and Vocational Bureau   now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for; -

3.    Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.     Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Oromia Job Creation and Vacation bureau 6th floor Room No 602 Finance Directorate Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:30 AM– 5:00 PM at the address given below.

  5.  The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 1000.00( One thousand Birr only). The method of payment deposited through CBE by the name of Oromia Job Creation and Vacation Bureau Account No; 1000007346321 the document will be delivered on hand.

6.   Bids must be delivered to the address below at on Feb, 14, 2024 at 10.00 AM and will be open at the same day at 10:30 AM on Announcement of the Ethiopian Herald. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below striate address at the end of this invitation and also bidders should submit sealed bid documents containing one original and one copy.

7.   All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security “CPO or unconditional Guarantee issued by the Bank for birr 156,537.00(  One Hindered fifty six thousand  five hundred thirty seven from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Oromia Job Creation and Vacation Bureau only.

8. The Oromia Job and Vacation Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid
