1. The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds to ward payments under the contract for procurement of  localConstructionMaterials.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specifiedin the World Bank's Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRDLoans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

5.A complete set ofbidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 1000 birr. The method of payment will be bank. The document will be sent hand.
