The Southwest Ethiopia peoples regional state bureau of education invites eligible bidders with grades contractor’s category GC-7 or BC-7 and above to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, materials, and equipment for construction works of one block class room at Sheka zone Gecha woreda Shakibado elementary school.

1.       Interested bidders shall submit the following legal evidence.

I.                     Contractor's registration certificate from ministry of construction GC-7 or BC -7 and above renewed for the year 2018 E.C.

II.                   Renewed trade license for the year 2018 E.C.

III.                 VAT registration certificate

IV.                Updated tax clearance from inland revenue -/valid within the bid process time/

V.                  Registration certificate in suppliers list under EGP

VI.                Bid security should be ETB 100,000/one hundred thousand/ valid for 118 days starting from the opening day of the bid.

2.       Bidders should submit the required firm experience, key personnel's, and machineries attaching with their technical proposal document.

3.       Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding/ NCB/ and procedures as specified above and is open to all eligible bidders as specified and defined in the bidding document.

4.       Any copy document to be submitted need to be clearly visible in order to be considered for evaluation.

5.       A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders from bureau of education proc/ finance and property admin directorate paying non-refundable fee of ETB 500/five hundred birr/ from the first appearance of this advertisement for 21 days. The method of payment shall be in bank transfer of CBE SWEPRS bureau of education A/C number 1000453714528

6.       Bidders are instructed to submit one original and two copies of technical and financial proposal documents in different folders labeled as ORIGINAL and COPY for both proposals properly and separately shall be sealed in large outer mother envelope.

7.       The final submission and opening date of the bid is 22nd date of this announcement at 8:00 local time and 8:30 local time respectively.

8.       Bid evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, qualification application first and financial document of qualified bidders next.

9.       Bids will be open in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choice to attend the bid opening.

10.   Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the office of SWEPR bureau of education Proc/fin/pro/admin/directorate Tel .047-345-0715.

11.   The bureau reserves the right to reject the bid.
