For Plant Design, Supply, Installation Testing of a Fully Automated Hatchery System and Associated Equipment and Construction of Associated Facilities

1.       The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has applied for financing from the African Development Fund hereinafter called the Bank towards the cost of the Ethiopia Poultry Value Chain Development Program (E-PVDP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract for the Supply of a Fully Automated Hatchery System and Associated Equipment, Including Installation, Commissioning, Testing, and Construction of Associated Facilities.

2.       The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply of a Fully Automated Hatchery System and Associated Equipment, Including Installation, Commissioning, Testing, and Construction of Associated Facilities in Modjo, East Shoa, Oromia Region. It is intended that the contract will be implemented within 12 months from the date of contract signature. To out wing

3.       Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding) (International), OCBI procedures as specified in the Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operation (October 2015) and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.

4.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 8:30AM to 5:00PM at the address given below.

5.       A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 2,000.00 (Two Thousand Birr only) deposited on the Ministry of Agriculture Bank Account No. 1000009144009, at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.

6.       The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for Design, Supply and Installation

7.       Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14 April 2026 GC at 10:00 AM EAT accompanied by a Bid Security of USD 200,000 or ETB 31,000,000.
