The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ethiopian Electrification Program of Ethiopia to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract resulting from MoWE/RFB/NCB/GOV ELEAP-02-2018.

1.       The Ministry of Water and Energy hereby invites eligible and qualified contractors to submit bids for the procurement of Renovation and Furnishing Works for the EEILEO Office of the Ministry of Water and Energy (MOWE).

2.       Bidding will be conducted in accordance with open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

3.       Interested suppliers can obtain the full bid Document from the Ministry web site viathe link https://www.mowe.gov.et/en/resource-types/procurement-files. Bidders who download the document must register at the Ministry, 2nd Floor, Room No. 211, to be eligible to submit bids.

4.       Bids shall be submitted to the address below on or before February 3, 2026, at 10:00 am., and will be opened at the same address on February 3, 2026, at 10.30 a.m.

5.       All bids shall be accompanied by original Bid Security of ETB 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Birr in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO to Ministry of water and energy.

6.       Ministry of water and energy reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
