RE-ADVERTISEMENT OF BID FOR PROCUREMENT

OF DISPOSABLE SANITARY PAD

Engender Health Ethiopia designs and implements different projects to support the expansion of Comprehensive Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health information and services.

Engender Health seeks supplier for procurement of 349,920 pack (10 pieces per pack) disposable sanitary pads for Jimma and Yabello Field Offices,

Pads minimum Requirement: The applicant should submit a summary of the technical details about the product including but not limited to:

1. Product Type: Disposable sanitary Regular size (180mm to 220mm)
2. Absorbency: Suitable for moderate to heavy menstrual flow; leak-proof
3. Individual Packaging: Each pad individually wrapped for hygiene
4. Quality Certification: Valid national or internationally recognized quality certification
5. Labeling: Product name, manufacturer, batch number. expiry date
6. Delivery Capacity: Ability to deliver required quantity within 2 weeks
7. Transportation: to project sites Jimma and Yabello towns

Bidders should comply with the following requirements:

• Submit Renewed business license for 2018, TIN and VAT registration certificate
• Bid bond amounting to ETB 50,000.00 in the form of CPO which will be prepared in the name of Engender Health Ethiopia (Not applicable to bidders already submitted in the previous bid)
• Bidders should submit samples for inspection (Not applicable to bidders already submitted in the previous bid)
• Suppliers' name should be written on the sample (Not applicable to bidders already submitted in the previous bid)
• The price quotation should be valid for 2 months:
• Winners should deliver the item to the premises of Engender Health Jimma and Yabello field offices within two weeks' time after purchase order
• Bidders should submit 1) quotation for pads only and 2) quotation including transportation to Jimma and Borena field offices separately.
• The deadline for bid submission will be Jan 7, 2026; 5:00 pm in the afternoon. Late submission will not be accepted.
• There will not be additional bid document to be collected from Engender Health
• Selection will be based on price and technical evaluation

EngenderHealth has the right to cancel the bid in partially or fully without assuming any liability
