Request for Consultancy Services

1. 1. Ethiopian Insurance Corporation (EIC) has allocated budget towards the cost of consultancy services for Design Adaptation, Bid Processing, Resident and Author Control Supervision and Contract Administration of EIC Nefas Silk Multipurpose Buildings Project.
   2. The Ethiopian Insurance Corporation (EIC) now invites suitably qualifying bidders to submit sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) for consultancy service for Design Adaptation, Bid Processing, Resident and Author Control Supervision and Contract Administration of EIC Nefas Silk Multipurpose Buildings Project.
   3. The Employer, the Ethiopian Insurance Corporation (EIC) intends to have Design Adaptation, Bid Processing, Resident and Author Control Supervision and Contract Administration Services for EIC Nefas Silk Multipurpose Buildings Project in Addis Ababa city.
   4. The Bidder must be Consulting Architects, Consulting Architects and Engineers Category I and above registered for VAT, have Consulting and Trade licenses and registration certificate from Ministry of works and urban Development and Trade Bureau, to provide consultancy services for Design Adaptation, Bid Processing, Resident and Author Control Supervision and Contract Administration Services all valid for the year 2018.
   5. A complete set of bidding documents can be purchased staring from 1st day announcement by any interested eligible bidder on submission of a written application to the office of Ethiopian Insurance Corporation, Enterprise Service Office 1st floor Room No. 108 Tel +251 11 550 4931 Addis Ababa upon payment of non-refundable fee Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr)
   6. Request for Proposal will be evaluated by the Bid Criteria set in the document based on the Federal Democrat Republic of Ethiopia Public Financial Enterprises Agency. Participation is open to all eligible bidders.
   7. Interested eligible bidders must submit RFP document to the address below on 13th of January 2026 up to 2:00 P.M.
   8. Bid shall be valid to a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 150,000 (One Hundred Fifty Thousand Birr). Technical Document and bid bond will be opened in the presence of those bidder's or their legal representatives on the same day at 2:30 P.M. at Ethiopian Insurance Corporation Head Quarter Enterprise Service Office Hall.
   9. Late submissions shall be rejected.
   10. The employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
