For Sale of Used Vehicles

Link Education Ethiopia is part of Link Education International (LEI). a family of not-for-profit organizations working together to transform education for children and communities across impoverished areas of Ethiopia, Malawi, Rwanda and Uganda. Since our foundation in 1995 we have worked in 3,000 schools and improved the lives of over two million children through unique and effective school improvement models.

Link Education Ethiopia (LEE) invites sealed bid documents from interested bidders for sale of the following used vehicles whose details are described below.

A. Instruction to Bidders:

1. 1. The Vehicles are being sold on "AS IS", "WHERE IS" and "NON RETURNABLE" basis. The LEE DOES NOT guarantee any of the property in any way.
   2. This Bid is a single lot bid.
   3. All interested bidders can view and inspect the vehicle(s) during the following hours and days at our premises Link Education Ethiopia, Addis Ababa around Gazebo roundabout on the following specific days and hours: December 10, December 11, 2025, and December 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00PMexcluding 1-hour lunch time which is 12:30 PM to 1:30PM.
   4. The enclosed Bid Form shall be filled and submitted for this LOT in sealed envelopes addressed to: Link Education Ethiopia, Addis Ababa and must be delivered by hand on or before the deadline of bid submission date.
   5. All interested bidders can purchase the bid documents for the sale of vehicles asper the following scheduled hours and days from our office. This will be available from December 10. 2025, to December 25, 2025 until 2PM, at Link Education Ethiopia office, located Addis Ababa near the Gazebo roundabout.
1. The scheduled days for this purpose are Monday to Thursday, and the hours are from 09:30 AM to 4:30 PM excluding 1-hour lunch time which is 12:30 PM to 1:30PM.
   6. The enclosed Bid Form shall be filled and submitted addressed to: Link Education Ethiopia, Addis Ababa and must be delivered by hand on or before the deadline of bid submission date.
   7. Bids must include a bid security of 30% of the starting bid amount in the form of a CPO to Link Education Ethiopia. If the bid bond is to be prepared outside of Addis Ababa, it should be produced from Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. The bid bond will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after completion of the bid process.
   8. The vehicle will be sold to the bidder with the highest offer. In case of achieving the same price, the Lot will be open for re-bid to those who provide same price.
   9. The deadline of bid submission is before or on December 25, 2025 till 2:00pm. Bids submitted after this deadline will not be accepted. All bids must be registered on bid delivery.
   10. Bids will be opened on December 25, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives.
   11. The successful bidder shall be notified by a letter of award and pay full amount to Link Education Ethiopia within 5 business days.
   12. If the winner fails to pay the winning amount to Link Education Ethiopia within the given due dateon the Letter of Award, Link Education Ethiopiashall withhold the entire bid bond amount anddispose of the vehicle in any way it sees fit.
   13. Link Education Ethiopia will not provide any assistance, either mechanical or manpower, for the removal of the vehicles.
   14. The winning bidders are responsible for any legal fees required while transferring ownership of the Vehicle.
   15. A Bid document completed with a pencil will automatically be rejected.
   16. Link Education Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any bids.
   17. Link Education Ethiopia reserves the right to cancel the whole or part of the bids.

The auction winner or buyer will be responsible to pay taxes custom duties and other charges of public nature levied by the government and must be paid to the government when assessed, Except Organizations or Companies with duty free privilege.
