Procurement of: All Aluminum Alloy Conductors (AAAC 95 and AAAC 50 mm²) Bid No. WB-EEU-PPM /001/2025-2026 ICB Lot -1.1 & 1.2

1. 1. 1. The Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) intends to purchase All Aluminum Alloy Conductors through International competitive bidding WB-EEU- PPM/001/2025-2026 (ICB) Lot-1 & 1.2, The Ethiopian Electric Utility invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following AAAC 95 and AAAC 50 mm²:

• 1. 2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and open to all bidders from eligible suppliers.
     3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below: -
• Monday-Thursday 8:00-12:00 to 13:00- 17:00 hours Ethiopian Time
• Friday: 8:00-11:30 to 13:30 - 17:00 hours Ethiopian Time
• Saturday: 8:00- 12:00 hours Ethiopian Time at the address given below

3. A complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders starting from December 3, 2025 at the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of against payment receipt of ETB 10,000 or USD 66 (exchange rate of 1USD=153 ETB).

The method of payment will be cash payment at PPMO cashier's check or deposited to the Ethiopian Electric Utility accounts: EEU-Electrification Program Foreign Currency A/C No. 0101181300064 with National Bank of Ethiopia, for foreign currencies, or deposited to the Ethiopian Electric Utility accounts:

EEU-UEAPAccount No 2.: 1000604742556, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), Mehteme Gandi branch, for the local account.

4. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of the following amounts:

5. Bids must be delivered to the address mentioned above before the January 19, 2025 at 14:00 local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as mentioned above and the bid security must be by the name of the bidder, in case of JV the name of the JV or the name of all members.
6. Bids will be opened January 19, 2025 at 14:30 local time presence of the bidders or bidders’ representatives' who choose to attend at the address above on the above mentioned date and time.
7. Bidders are advised to submit their offer after examining the bid document carefully.
