1. In Central Ethiopia Regional State Silte Zone West Azernet Berbere Woreda Trade and Market Development Office has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Food System Resilience Program and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement of construction of Lera Modern Livestock Market Center at Sillte Zone, West Azernet Berbere Woreda, in Lera Town.
2. Interested eligible bidders should submit VAT certificate, TIN No, renewed trade license for the current year 2018 E.C.
3. The West Azernet Berbere Woreda Finance and Economy Development now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for ET-CERS-FSRP-461177-CW-RFB for the procurement of construction of Lera Modern Livestock Market Center, at Silte Zone, West Azernet Berbere Woreda, in Lera Town.
4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all bidders. The Evaluation bid will be conducted using World Band Procedures.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Central Ethiopia Regional State, Silte Zone West Azernet Berbere Woreda Finance and Economy Development Office at the address below during office hour from 8:30 A.M to 5:30 P.M.
6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and up on payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1000.00 (One Thousand Birr only) starting from November 27, 2025 G.C. or (18/03/2018 E.C.). The method of payment will be in cash or cashier's check. In the delivery of the bidding document of the mail and shall not entertain requests for extension on account of such delays.
7. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand) Ethiopian birr in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 PM on December 29, 2025 G.C. (20/03/2018 E.C.). Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below. The bid shall be opened at 2:30 P.M. on December 29, 2025 G.C. or (20/04/2018 E.C.), at the following address stated below. The winner bidder has to provide 1% of contract price performance guarantee for environmental and social safe guard in addition to 10% performance Security.
8. The Office reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
