Contract Title: Construction and Rehabilitation of Small works, Supply and Installation of Pipes, fittings & Electro Mechanical Equipment's.

National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

1. The Sidama National Regional State Water, Mines and Energy Bureau through the Government of Ethiopia has received a budget from One WaSH national program Consolidated WaSH Account (OWNP-CWA-II) toward the cost of the water supply and sanitation project and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for Civil works, Supply & Installation of pipes, fittings for small town water supply and Sanitation Project.
2. The SNRS Water. Mines and Energy Bureau now invites sealed bids from qualified eligible bidders having renewed registration license for the execution of the following small town Water Supply Project.

3. Bidding will be conducted through a NATIONAL COMPETETIVE BIDDING (NCB) procedure specified in the world Bank's Guidelines: procurement un- der IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) Calendar Days after Bid opening.
5. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of unconditional bank guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for 120 (One Hundred Twenty) Calendar days. Insurance bond is not acceptable.
6. The Bidding Documents may be Purchased by interested bidders on the sub- mission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed license at least for the current year with originals from Sidama National Regional state of Water, Mines and Energy Bureau at procurement and finance Department, Hawassa city, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (five Hundred Birr). the method of payment will be in cash or check against re- ceipt. Bidders are required to attach with their application, a copy of their renewed trade licenses, VAT Certificate, Tax Clerance, and TIN Certificate.
7. Bids must be delivered to the Sidama National Regional state of Water, Mines and Energy Bureau of finance and procurement directorate, Room number first floor, Hawassa City, Telephone number +251 46 212 5480, on 30th Calander days of this announcement on the national newspaper at or up to 2:00 P.m. and Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/ their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m at the same date /30th Calander days of announcement on the national newspaper/. If the day lay on weekend or Ethiopian holiday the bid will open next working day. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
8. Bid is open to eligible firms or joint ventures with GC and WWC Category -5 and above or WWC - Category -5 and above which is licensed for water works.
9. The Sidama National Regional State wafer, Mines and Energy Bureau reserve the right to reject all or part of the bid.
