TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROCUREMENT OF COMBINED DESKS

Gayo Pastoral Development Initiative (GPDI) is a non-government organization (NGO), non- political, non-for-profit and secular organization established to promote sustainable livelihoods and self-reliance in the pastoral communities of Oromia Regional State. It was legally registered with the Ministry of Justice on November 21, 2003 and re-registered under new legislation of "Charities and Societies Proclamation No. 1113/2019" on July 24, 2019 with a registration number 0156 as "Ethiopian Resident Charity".

Gayo pastoral Development Initiative is implementing a project "Bridging the Learning Gap: Holistic Education Support for Crisis-Affected Children in Gumi Eldalo Woreda of East Borana Zone by the support of OCHA/EHF. Among the activities are Furnish the rehabilitated learning classrooms/centers with desks, GPDI would like to invite interested potential bidders for the supply of Combined Desk to furnish the renovated learning class room/centers at Gumi Eldalo district of east Borana Zone, Oromia Regional State.

The detailed number of Combined Desks

REQUIREMENTS AND CRITERIA:

1. 1. Renewed trade license and up-to-date tax payment certificate
   2. Tax Payer registration certificate
   3. VAT registration certificate
   4. Ability to deliver the required number of Combined Desks at the right time and place i.e., schools in Gumi Eldalo Woreda.
   5. The delivery will be in one month from the date of signing the contract Agreement
   6. Good experience in supplying the item as per the given specifications.
   7. Ability to provide a headed receipt bearing the name of the firm.
   8. The financial and technical proposals submitted by bidders should bear the official seal of the firm, and be signed by the authorized personnel.
   9. The bidders should include the VAT/TOT cost on the total price
   10. All pages of the bid document must have the bidder's official seal and address.
   11. Documents without the seal and address of the Bidder will not be accepted.
   12. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond of 2% of the total bid price in C.P.O issued from the bank only.
   13. GPDI reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to amend the bidding process.
   14. All document certificates, and handwriting should be neat, visible, readable and validated
   15. All bidders who have valid licenses for the current year can obtain a complete set of bidding documents from the GPDI Head office in Addis Ababa located at Mekanisa Seminary, Yemisrach Dimts building 3rd floor and Nagelle Borana Area Office in Negele Borana town during working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (Five hundred birr only).
   16. Bids should be clearly marked "Procurement of Combined Desks" and submitted to the GPDI Nagelle Borana Area Office.
   17. Bidders should submit their financial and technical proposals clearly marked "ORIGINAL" and "COPY". In the event of any discrepancy between them, the original shall prevail.

• Bid period/floating time: From September 22, 2025-October 03,2025. Bidders can get the bid document from Monday to Friday
• during office working hours from GPDI head office and Nagelle Borana Area Office.
• Submit the Bid document only at Nagelle Borana Area Office in Negele Borana town in person. q1-201
• Date and time of bid close: October 03, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
• Date and time of bid opening: The bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or their official delegates on October 03, 2025, at 3:10 pm.
• Place of bid opening: GPDI Nagelle Borana Area Office.

Note: GPDI reserves the right to accept or reject the bid entirely or partially and is not obliged to choose the lowest price.
