Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for Renovation and maintenance work of its Dire Dawa G+2 Branch offices and Laboratory Building

1. ECAE invites Bidders having license with Category GC/BC-4 and above. Duly accompanied by:

• Valid tax clearance certificate,
• Renewed Trade license and certificate of competence for construction valid for the year 2017 E.C
• VAT and TIN Registration certificate
• PPA registration certificate

2. The bid document can be obtained from ECAE Head Office in Quality Village Next to AMCE Between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on any working day until the Closing Date and Time specified below. up on payment of non-refundable 1000.00 birr.
3. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 400,000.00 birr,  in acceptable form (CPO C, Bank Guarantee or Unconditional irrevocable) prepared in the name of Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) and must be submitted with original technical proposal.
4. Bid documents must be filled with all the necessary information & return to Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) Head Office, Addis Ababa before closing date specified here under.
5. The bidder shall seal the original and copy of the bid in separate envelop. Dully marking the envelopes as "ORIGINAL" and "COPY" as appropriate. On the envelope they should write name, address and sign and sealed correctly and forward both to the ECAE. A separate sealed envelope marked "BID BOND" carrying the supplier's bid security should be included in the envelope carrying the original technical document.
6. The bidder should submit their technical & financial proposal in separate envelopes.
7. All bids must be submitted to the Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) Head Office, Addis Ababa before closing date and time specified here under.
8. All bidders should visit the construction site by their own expenses.
9. The Bid will be closed at 3:00 pm and opened at 3:30 pm on the 16th day from the first announcement of this advertisement In the presence of those bidders or their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event. At Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) Head office, Addis Ababa. If the opening date lies on holyday or not working day the bid will be opened on the next working day. Exact date will mention on the bid document.
10. Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) reserves the right to accept or reject any part or all bids without assigning any reason whatsoever.
