INVITATION TO BID

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) Amhara Regional Branch office invites eligible and qualified Grade 2 and above consultancy firms with valid trade license, registration certificate, competency certificate, Tax paying certificate, and VAT registered, and who are eligible for the work of Consultancy Services for the Adoption and Design of a G+6 Multipurpose Building in North Gondar and new G+8 multipurpose building design in Debre Tabor South Gondar in Amhara Region.

1. 1. Interested and eligible bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr). The documents will be available starting from the date of this announcement at the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) Amhara Regional Branch Office during working hours: Moring: 8:00 AM-12:00 AM and Afternoon: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
   2. Bidders must ensure their proposals are accompanied by a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in the form of a CPO ONLY, as specified in the Bidding Data Sheet, amounting to 2% of the bid offer. This bid security must be submitted in a separate wax-sealed envelope and should be valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity period.
   3. Financial offer shall be produced in two separate wax- sealed envelopes labeled as "ORIGINAL FINANCIAL OFFER" and "COPY FINANCIAL OFFER". TECHNICAL OFFER shall be produced in two separate wax-sealed envelopes labeled as "ORIGINAL TECHNICAL OFFER" and "COPY TECHNICAL OFFER". These four envelopes shall then be sealed, signed, and stamped inside a single sealed, signed, and stamped outer envelope, addressed to the Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below.
   4. Bid will be closed on the 15th consecutive calendar day from the date of this invitation at 2:00 PM, and the technical document will be opened on the same day at 2:30 PM in the presence of those bidders or their authorized representatives who, are willing to attend the event at the ERCS Amhara Regional Branch Office meeting hall.
   5. If the 15th consecutive calendar day's day is a public holiday, the closing and opening will be held on the next working day.
   6. Bidders are advised to read the ITB and Term of Reference (TOR) documents thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bid document.
   7. Bidders are required to fill in all the necessary details requested in the Term of Reference (TOR) document.
   8. Failure to comply with the conditions from No.2 to 7 above shall result in an automatic rejection.
   9. The Ethiopian Red Cross Society Amhara Regional Branch Office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without giving any reason thereof.
