Bid Announcement

The Ethiopian Guenet Church Development and Welfare Organization (EGCDWO) is registered as a Civil Society Organization under Proclamation No. 1113/2019, Article 88/3, with the Civil Society Organizations Authority with registration number 1417.

EGCDWO invites sealed bids for the sale of the following assets through an open competitive bidding process, by according with the relevant laws in the country.

Items for Sale:

Vehicle: Lifan, LF6431 model, Chassis Number LCN64EF35F0100019, Motor Number LF47002H*150700015*, benzine engine, good condition, mileage: 100,228 km.

Year of Manufacture: 2015

Bidding Requirements:

1. 1. 1. Inspection of Assets:

Bidders may inspect the assets at the organization's premises located at Head Office in Addis Ababa around Bulgaria Traffic light 80 meter from Nasa café behind previous Cher era Authority office from the second day after this announcement's publication in Addis Zemen newspaper. Inspection hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday).

1. 1. 2. Bid Security:

Bidders must submit a bid security of 10% of the total bid value via a Certified Payment Order (CPO) issued by any licensed commercial bank in Ethiopia. The CPO must be submitted with the bid in a sealed envelope.

1. 1. 3. Bid Submission:

Bidders must complete the bidding document, indicating the offered price (in figures and words, without corrections) for each item, and submit it in a sealed envelope to Head Office in Addis Ababa around Bulgaria Traffic light 80 meter from Nasa café behind previous Cher cra Authority office. Bids must be submitted within 10 working days from the publication date in Addis Zemen.

The submission deadline is 5:00 PM on the 10-working day. Late submissions will not be accepted.

1. 1. 4. Bidding Documents:

Bidding documents, including detailed asset descriptions and bidder guidelines, are available for purchase at the organization's office for 1000 ETB per set (vehicles item). Documents can be purchased within 10 working days from the publication date, until 5:00 PM on the 10th day.

1. 1. 5. Bid Opening:

The bid box will be opened on the 10th working day at 5:15 PM at the organization's main office Head Office in Addis Ababa around Bulgaria Traffic light 80 meter from Nasa café behind previous Cher era Authority office in the presence of bidders or their representatives.

1. 1. 6. Payment and Collection:

Successful bidders must pay the full bid amount within 7 working days of notification and collect the assets within 10 working days. The bid security (CPO) will be returned upon full payment. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the bid security, and the organization reserves the right to retain the assets.

Bids will be evaluated based on the highest offered price, compliance with submission requirements, and bidder eligibility.

1. 1. 8. Additional Conditions:

Bidders cannot amend their bids based on other bidders' offers.

The organization reserves the right to cancel the bid process in whole or in part.

All costs related to the bidding process and asset transfer shall be borne by the bidder.
