Water Works Corporation (WWC) invites qualified and eligible supplier/firms to submit their Expressions of Interest in a two-stage process focused on the development of technical specifications and relevant information (first stage) and the supply of machinery, specifically targeting core drilling rigs and grouting plants (second stage).

OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

The objective of this two-stage bidding process is to support the Water Works Corporation in the development of comprehensive purchase specifications for core drilling rigs and grouting plants. These specifications will be illustrated in international bids, allowing for a thorough evaluation of submissions from competitive bidders. This initiative aims to ensure that all requirements are met and that the best solutions are selected for our operational needs.

Scope of the Work (Key Features for Documentation), but not limited

1. Core Drilling Rig(s): - specification for Drilling Capacity/depth Drilling

rod, drilling diameter, drilling hole angle, Vertical shaft speed, Vertical shaft torque, Hydraulic system rated pressure, Engine power, Machine dimension and, drilling tools types and their specification.

2. Grouting Plant: - Specifications for mixer, agitator, grout pump, automatic recorder, pressure gauge, pressure sensor, flow meter, and accessories.
3. Laboratory Equipment for Testing Grout: - Specifications for mud balance,

Marsh flow cone, Vicat apparatus, mini mixer, and cohesion plate.

4. Equipment for Water Testing: - Specifications for pump, packers, hoses, flow meters, and gauges. Both drilling and grouting equipment must be mobile for rugged terrains.

Interested bidders should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualification and relevant experience such as Core business and years in business, Qualification and relevant experience of the firm in the field of assignment (specific experience), Organization, managerial and technical capabilities of the firm.

Interested parties should submit their Expressions of Interest using the Standard Application Forms promptly. Only shortlisted vendors from stage 1 submit detailed cost breakdowns based on the agreed-upon technical specifications.

Expression of interest and the first stage process must be delivered with in 45 days from the date of first announcement of this notice on the Ethiopian Herald in office hours on or before 4:00 pm in a written form to the address below in person and open on the next date at 9:00 A.M to discuss and present on the subject matters.
