1. The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) has received funds from the Agence Françoise de Development (The French Development Agency) and the European Union towards the cost of the FARM Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of Female Breeding Goats, Including Transportation Costs, for the Afar Region.
2. The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Female Breeding Goats, Including Transportation Costs, for the Afar Region ("the Goods").

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the below-mentioned address and inspect the Bidding Documents between the hours of 8:30 A.M to 05:30 P.M.
4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 1,000 (ETB One Thousand only).  The method of payment will be in Cash or CPO. The cash sum must be deposited at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia in the name of the Agricultural Transformation Institute in Account No: 1000659472698 and the application letter and cash deposit receipt must be submitted to the Procurement/Finance department to participate in this bid.
5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the GeneralConditions of Contract are the provisions of the Agence Franyaise de Development's Bidding Documents for Procurement of Goods.
6. Bids must be delivered to the office below on or before 10:00 A.M., March 21, 2025, and must be accompanied by ETB 250,000.00 (ETB Two Hundred Fifty Thousand only) in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee for each lot.
7. Bids will be opened to the public and in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 10:30 A.M March 21, 2025, at the Semera below-mentioned office & address.
8. Qualification criteria are as follows: Bidder should submit a copy of renewed Trade License, VAT Registration certificate, tax clearancecertificate, e-GP platform, and TIN certificate with their technicalproposal. The purchaser reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
