TENDER NOTICE

To all of category BC-7/GC-7 and above with license valid for the year 2017 E.C

1. Hawassa University Enterprise now invites scaled bids from eligible bidders for construction of TOILET BLOCK, BARESTA BLOCK AND ENTRANCE GATE work at main campus.
2. The bidder has to present valid license/ trade and construction/tax clearance letter and VAT registration certificate and TIN registration to purchase the bid document.
3. Eligible bidders are required to submit technical and financial proposals original and copies in a separate envelope. A bidder will be selected based on selection procedures described in the bidding document.
4. All bid documents (one original & two copies) shall be produced in separate wax-sealed envelopes labeled as "original" and "copy" and, the technical documents must be in different envelope labeled financial and technical respectively.
5. A complete set of documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder at HAWASSA UNIVERSITY REVENUE GENERATING ENTERPRISE, Tel. +251-462122858 Fax:-P.O. Box 5 Hawassa against a nonrefundable fee of birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr),
6. Any quires can be forwarded to the procuring entity from Monday to Friday at working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM HAWASSA UNIVERSITY REVENUE GENERATING ENTERPRISE
7. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of bank guarantee or CPO of amount birr 50,000 (Fifty Thousand birr).
8. Bids must be delivered to Hawassa University on 21st day of the announcement floated on 2:00 PM- 5:00 pm. If it becomes weekend/holiday/it will be the next working day till 2:00pm-5:00 pm and the technical proposal will be opened at 9:30 AM on the next day in the bid opening hall of HAWASSA UNIVERSITY REVENUE GENERATING ENTERPRISE in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening.
9. The bidder who pass the minimum qualification criteria for the bid offer to be responsive for evaluation. Unqualified bid offers will return unopened.
10. The Financial proposal of the bidders who pass the technical qualification criteria shall be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend, on the date to be announced by the employer.
11. Hawassa University Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
